Postural Analysis and Re-education
Advanced Postural Analysis and Functional Gesture Re-education and Recovery Programs.
Posturology and postural education
Posturology is a branch of medicine that deals with the study of posture, that is
of the body's position in space and the spatial relationship between skeletal segments, the purpose of which is to maintain balance, both in static and dynamic conditions, to which neurophysiological, biomechanical, psychoemotional and relational factors contribute, also linked to the evolution of the species.
The goal of this discipline is to seek the root cause of the patient's discomfort. Posturology, unlike other medical approaches, does not focus on the symptom, but digs deeper. Behind the symptom can lie a variety of causes (and contributing factors): physical or psychological trauma, the aftermath of an injury, an organic dysfunction, or a bad daily habit.
Recovery of functional gesture
Functional Gesture Rehabilitation is a method used to help people recover or improve their motor skills after an injury. This type of rehabilitative therapy focuses on relearning the movements needed to perform daily activities effectively and safely.
The goal of Functional Gesture Re-education is to maximize independence and improve patients' quality of life by optimizing their motor skills. This approach uses specific exercises, joint mobilization techniques, and gait training, all aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
In short, functional re-education aims to enable people to return to their daily activities and their social, work, or sports lives with the greatest possible degree of independence and safety.
